Seeking Deputy Treasurer

We are seeking a Deputy Treasurer.  This is a paid, part-time position. The ideal candidate would have an interest in the Treasurer seat when the position becomes available.  If you would like the opportunity to learn the important duties and responsibilities while assisting as deputy in this office please contact the Township Treasurer respectively.

About Washington Township

Washington Township in Gratiot County, Michigan, was established in 1855. The township hall was built in 1856.  Its roots were set with the formation of the village of Pompeii in 1854 and has maintained its rural character and agricultural roots since its founding.
Over the years, Washington Township has grown into a community that balances its historical heritage with modern developments, including the recent addition of renewable energy projects.
